Each customized English textbook for African schools carries the mission of knowledge dissemination and educational equity. It is not merely a carrier of words, but a key for students to open the door to the world. Behind it lies meticulous craftsmanship throughout the entire process, from size customization to material selection and printing, all serving the core goal of “benefiting students’ reading growth.”
First, there is the flexibility of freely customizable size. Students of different ages have different needs regarding book size and weight. We offer a complete selection of sizes for notebooks from lower to higher grades. Considering that students in some parts of Africa need to walk long distances to school, we also support lightweight customization—while ensuring durability, we reduce the burden on school bags by optimizing paper weight and binding methods, making it easier for students to walk.
The cover is equally meticulously crafted. We use high-strength yet flexible environmentally friendly paper or laminated cardstock, with a waterproof and stain-resistant treatment to withstand frequent handling and friction in hot and humid climates. The cover uses four-color printing to present African elements—local animals, traditional patterns, or inspiring slogans—in vibrant and bright colors, creating a sense of familiarity and sparking reading interest in students from the first time they receive the book.
The inner pages are the core of the textbook. We use high-quality, environmentally friendly materials that are student-friendly—usually FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper to ensure sustainable sourcing. The ink is environmentally friendly soybean-based, odorless, and free of heavy metals and other harmful substances, ensuring no health impact even during extended reading sessions. The paper surface is specially treated to be non-reflective and non-glaring, clearly showcasing the four-color printed text and illustrations. Sharp edges and true-to-life color reproduction effectively reduce eye strain, promoting student reading development.
The four-color printing process transforms every page of the textbook into a lively classroom. Vocabulary is highlighted in blue, grammar rules are outlined in green, reading comprehension is accompanied by full-color illustrations, and there is ample white space in the exercise areas. Clear images and sharp text make even complex pronunciation diagrams or map details easily readable. Large font sizes and reasonable line spacing further protect the eyesight of younger students.
