Our Diensten
Prolead has professional graphic designers. If your file does not meet the printing requirements or has problems, we can make changes and send it back to you for confirmation after the changes are completed.
File requirements:
1. If your file is designed by Illustrator, InDesign, CoreDRAW and other software, it is stored in PDF format.
2. The image in the file needs to be 300dip.
3. The file needs to be bleed.
4. The file needs to be in CMYK mode.
In the process of customizing notebook, you need to consider the following aspects.
CMYK Color printing
CMYK is the most commonly used printing color mode, which consists of four colors: cyan, magenta, yellow and black. The files we designed are divided into four CTP plates for printing according to different proportions of CMYK. This printing method is the most cost-effective.
PANTONE spot color printing
Spot color generally refers to the use of ink to adjust a specific color effect. The PANTONE standard system provides a rich selection of colors, so that spot color printing can meet a variety of complex color requirements. Commonly used are offset paper PANTONE (U) and coated paper PANTONE (C).
CMYK+PANTONE printing
CMYK+PANTONE color printing. This printing method is costly and is generally only used for packaging or covers to enhance the high-end feel of printed materials.
Size selection:
We usually adopt the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard. In addition to the common A4, B5, A5, B6, and A7 specifications, you can also define the size arbitrarily, but you must consider the size of the printing paper. The waste of paper can determine the price of the product.
Binding method
Prolead can handle different types of binding. Most of the binding is done by machine, which can ensure the firmness and durability of the product. The main binding methods are as follows:
Cover material
1. Paper material: This is the most commonly used cover material, which can be ordinary paper, cardboard, kraft paper and various special papers. Paper materials are easy to print.
2. Leather and imitation leather material: This is the most commonly used hardcover material, suitable for hot stamping, embossing and other processes, and is very suitable for creating high-end and personalized notebook covers.
3. Cloth material: This material is generally cotton, linen, silk, woolen cloth, etc. Cloth covers are usually thin and soft, suitable for those who pursue natural comfort.
4. Hard shell material: Generally refers to acrylic and plastic covers. This material is very suitable for special scenes such as outdoor, car, travel, etc.
Inside page material
1. Offset paper: Usually, the inner pages of notebooks are almost all printed on offset paper, which has good and uniform ink absorption, water resistance, smooth surface and good stiffness, and clear printing.
2. Coated paper: The paper surface is smooth and flat, with high whiteness, high smoothness and good gloss, which makes the printed graphics and pictures have a three-dimensional sense.
3. Ivory paper: Generally used for high-end books and notebook inner page printing, the paper is smooth, but it is different from the smoothness of coated paper because of different production processes.
4. Special color paper: This kind of paper has been dyed with color during the manufacturing process, so it is only used for special printing.
The following are some common post-printing processes:
1. Lamination: Lamination can enhance the moisture resistance, sun protection, wear resistance, anti-fouling, water resistance and heat resistance of printed materials
2. Glazing (UV): Glazing is to apply a layer of colorless and transparent coating on the surface of the printed material, and dry and solidify it under ultraviolet radiation to form a thin and uniform transparent and bright layer.
3. Hot stamping (hot stamping/hot silver stamping): The surface of the printed material after hot stamping has a metallic texture and effect, which is magnificent and makes the printed picture have a strong contrast.
4. Die cutting: The die cutting process can produce special shapes and enhance the expressiveness.
5. Embossing (embossing/debossing/embossing): Embossing is a process that relies on pressure to make local changes in the printed object to form a pattern, which can increase the three-dimensional sense, strong decorativeness and unique style.
6. Flocking: Brush a layer of glue on the surface of the printed material, and then stick a velvet material on it to make the surface of the printed material have the effect of velvet cloth.
7. Glitter: Brush a layer of glue on the surface of the printed material, and then sprinkle gold powder, sequins and other decorations on the glue.
