Debossing / Blind Embossing.

Applying pressure from the back of the substrate to make the surface convex is called “convexing”, while applying pressure from the front of the substrate to make the surface concave is called “debossing”.

Concave-convex technology is one of the commonly used technologies in post-printing processes. Its main purpose is to emphasize the local surface of the overall design and highlight the important position of the part. The overall structure also has rich layers, adding more and stronger artistry; and it is a This is an environmentally friendly process, and its production process does not cause any pollution.

Prolead has three embossing machines, which can produce different embossing effects according to customer requirements during the notebook embossing production process.

Main categories of bumps

In the actual application of the embossing process, the thickness, depth and material of the printing plate; the thickness and toughness of the printing paper; the pressure of the embossed printing machine and the most important difference in the type of embossing will all bring differences to your products.
Engraved embossing: The convex surface is a three-dimensional planar structure, which makes the overall figure emerge, but the peripheral outline should change according to the picture design, presenting a similar effect to engraving. The height of embossing can be determined according to specific needs.
Plain embossing: There is no printed pattern in and around the embossed area. The requirements for paper depend on the specific design graphics, but paper with light color, long fibers and high toughness is more suitable for the plain embossing process.
Seal inscription embossing: A blank area is left during printing. This area undergoes an embossing process to fully present the design picture.
Multi-convex: Using laser engraving version, the layers are clear and the upper and lower gaps are large. When the thickness, toughness and surface tension of the paper are sufficient, multiple convex embossments can be made into an integrated concave and convex template, and the undulating surface effect can enhance the artistic effect of the picture.
Hot stamping and embossing: embossing and hot stamping are completed at one time. The template for hot stamping and embossing is generally made of brass to ensure the accuracy and durability of hot stamping.
