As the global environment continues to deteriorate, we strictly purchase environmentally friendly printing materials, continue to integrate environmentally friendly practices in notebook production, abide by environmental protection laws, and make positive changes in environmental protection.
Prolead is carbon neutral in all processes of notebook production and notebook wholesale, and is committed to environmental protection and stewardship.

Guangzhou Prolead Stationery Co., Ltd. as a pioneer and socially responsible body in the printing industry, has long been adhering to the concept of environmental protection. We are committed to create a sustainable world by implementing green printing in as many aspects as possible, including paper, ink, design, manufacturing, packaging, and logistics.Environmentally friendly printing is a new era model, mainly refers to printing enterprises using environmentally friendly paper, specific inks and special processes, so that the printing process can produce less pollution, protect natural resources and save industrial energy, while the printed products can be recycled after disposal.All of our offset inks, electronic inks, UV inks, etc. are sourced from suppliers with American Soybean Association (ASA) environmental certifications. These inks not only have superior printing results but are also very friendly to the environment.
We have a wide array of eco-friendly materials that we can offer our customers, from recycled leathers to elastic and ribbons made from thread recycled from plastic bottles.
Our standard papers and boards are all FSC and Acid free. All papers are FSC certified, We can print our FSC logo within your notebook or packaging to ensure your clients and customers understand the full product chain.
We only print with low VOC inks and ensure all our materials and consumables are REACH compliant, all cloths used are OEKO-TEK complaint if not covered by our directives or sustainability compliance guidelines. We use low environmental impact water based glues throughout production. If hot glue is required we use low VOC glues. Wherever possible we refuse to use PVC based products and materials.
All excess paper, board and rejected print is recycled locally. Wherever possible any other waste from production of goods and staff whilst on site is recycled through the local government services.
Wherever possible we use biodegradable laminates and shrink-wrap, preferring those films made from cellulose fibre over oil plastics.

Resource conservation and waste recycling
Prolead’s printing machines are Heidelberg printing machines and CTP plate making machines. Water, alcohol, ink and various cleaning agents are used in the production process to cause pollution. However, our production process strictly treats pollutants without pollution, so we reduce chemicals that have an impact on the environment.
Throughout our production area, every station is equipped with various recycling and/or disposal bins. When suppliers send us production materials, the packaging (i.e. cardboard boxes, pallets) gets sorted and repurposed or recycled through our waste partners. Scrap paper, cardboard, plastic and styrene are also carefully sorted and recycled.
Our box crusher compacts waste boxes to create more density, which ensures they can be handled efficiently as they make their way to be recycled (using less fuel, emissions and labor during transport).
We even leverage software that maximizes the principle area on press sheets, thus using as many square inches as possible to reduce waste. And any materials that cannot be recycled (think laminated paper, plastic tubes, ink canisters, foam core, waxy paper and tape) are often used for energy recovery.
More and more customers are asking for “green” materials to meet their printing needs. We continually seek out the latest environmentally friendly technologies and materials, while sourcing products through sustainability-focused suppliers wherever possible.

We work with global couriers including DPD, FedEx, TNT and DHL, all of whom have policies to mitigate the negatives from global supply chains, including offering carbon neutral shipping. Our factory is within hours of port allowing us to sea freight bulk shipments where opportune.
